Junkee’s New GOLD Room Grand Opening

Junkee Clothing Exchange and Antiques is growing! Junkee GOLD will have its grand opening event on April 4 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with an art show, music and refreshments. The new GOLD room features their finest costumes, festival wear, and vintage clothing.

When: Thursday, April 4 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Junkee Clothing Exchange & Antiques is located at 960 S. Virginia St., next to Simple Ice Cream Sandwiches.

 

 

Celebrate Earth Day in Midtown

The business community in Midtown is celebrating Earth Day on April 20 this year with the 420 Block Party! Businesses throughout Midtown will be participating in the event with special sales, workshops, guest vendors, live music and much more. The event is open to the public and is family friendly.

When: Saturday, April 20, all day
Where: Midtown in Reno

 

March 28 Meeting Update

RTC, SNC and the City of Reno met with business owners and stakeholders on Thursday, March 28 at The Saint. The team provided project information including project finishes, benches, bike racks, the right-of-way process, and upcoming construction activities.

Construction Updates Week of April 8

  • Virginia Street closed to northbound traffic from Center Street to Vassar Street. Use Holcomb Avenue.
  • Southbound traffic from Vassar Street to Mary Street will shift to the west side of the street.
  • Crews continue to install storm drain pipe on Virginia Street.
